    Facade & Exterior Finishing in Malta

    The exterior of your property is the first thing people see. Our facade finishing service covers external rendering, insulated facade systems (ETICS), stone cladding, feature panels and exterior painting — giving your building a clean, distinctive and weather-resistant finish.

    We also specialise in the restoration and pointing of traditional Maltese Globigerina limestone walls. Stone is cleaned, treated with appropriate consolidants and water-repellent chemicals to protect against salt and moisture ingress, and deteriorated mortar joints are repointed with a lime-based mortar that is compatible with the original masonry.

    Yes — restoring traditional Globigerina limestone facades is one of our specialisms. We clean the stone surface, treat it with appropriate consolidants and water-repellent chemicals to protect against salt and moisture ingress, and repoint deteriorated mortar joints with a lime-based mortar compatible with the original masonry.

    ETICS (External Thermal Insulation Composite System) involves fixing EPS or mineral wool insulation boards to the facade, covering them with a fibreglass-reinforced render base coat, and finishing with a decorative silicone or mineral render. It significantly improves a building's thermal performance and reduces energy costs.

    Yes — we use silicone-modified render systems that are hydrophobic (water-repellent) and elastomeric. They are designed to flex with Malta's significant temperature swings without cracking, and resist UV degradation and salt-air exposure.

    A correctly applied silicone or mineral render system with proper detailing at windows and reveals should last 15–25 years before requiring re-treatment or refreshing with a new surface coat.

    Yes — we cut back failed areas, apply bonding treatment, re-render and feather into the surrounding surface for a seamless appearance. Where cracking is widespread, a full re-render may be more cost-effective than patch repairs.
