Professional Painting Services in Malta

Painting is the final transformation — it gives personality and depth to a space. Our painters work on properly plastered and primed surfaces, applying paint in clean, even coats that hold their colour and finish for years. We work with all major paint brands and can mix any colour to match your design specification.

We cover internal walls and ceilings, external facades and feature walls across all of Malta. Our standard work uses McPherson and Sigma paints; for premium specification finishes we also work with Dulux, Jotun and Tikkurila.

Why It Matters

Painting is always the last stage — done after plastering, gypsum work, tiling and joinery are complete. Any paint applied too early risks damage from other trades. Our team schedules painting correctly, works on clean prepared surfaces and protects all finished floors and fittings before starting.

Frequently Asked Questions — Painting

Typically two finish coats over a primed surface. On new plaster we first apply a diluted mist coat to seal the alkaline surface and prevent the paint from being absorbed unevenly, then follow with two full-strength coats.

We use anti-mould, moisture-resistant emulsions with fungicidal additives in bathrooms, kitchens and any area where humidity is consistently high. These prevent mould growth on the painted surface.

Yes — we use machine-mixed paint from McPherson and Sigma for standard projects to match any RAL, NCS or custom colour reference. For premium specification work we also use Dulux, Jotun and Tikkurila mixing systems.

Yes — exterior masonry painting is part of our service. We prepare and prime surfaces before applying weather-resistant masonry paint suitable for Malta's UV exposure and salt-air conditions.

Water-based emulsions are touch dry within 1–2 hours. We recommend keeping windows open for ventilation for at least 24 hours and avoiding placing furniture hard against freshly painted walls for the first day.
