Stretched ceilings are a premium ceiling solution using a thin PVC membrane tensioned onto an aluminium perimeter profile. The result is a perfectly flat, seamless ceiling surface that can be matte, gloss, satin or even printed with a custom image. They can also create a "sky lighting" backlit effect when combined with LED panels behind the translucent film.

Stretched ceilings are fast to install, require no drying time, and can be combined with gypsum perimeters for designer finishes.

A stretched ceiling consists of a lightweight PVC membrane tensioned across an aluminium perimeter track fixed to the walls. The membrane is heated to make it pliable, then clipped into the track and cools to form a perfectly smooth, taut surface.

No — the membrane can be released from the track, giving access to any services above (electrical, plumbing, structure) and then re-tensioned. This makes stretched ceilings ideal for properties where future access may be needed.

Yes — LED downlights, LED strip cove lighting and backlit translucent panels are all possible. Spotlights are fitted into specially designed bayonet rings that are bonded to the membrane, preventing tearing.

We offer matte, satin, gloss, metallic and lacquered finishes in an extensive colour range. Translucent membranes for backlighting and photographic digital print panels are also available for bespoke feature ceilings.

Yes — the aluminium track is fixed to the wall perimeter with minimal dust and disruption. Installation is typically completed within a day for most rooms. The finished ceiling sits 30–60mm below the original structure.
