Tiling

Precision installation of all tile types, from ceramic to large-format stone.

Expert Tiling Services in Malta

Tiling is one of the most visible elements of any finished space β€” it defines the character of bathrooms, kitchens, terraces and living areas. Our experienced tilers handle all tile types and formats, from small mosaic tiles to large 120x120cm slabs, with precise cutting and perfectly aligned joints. We work across all of Malta including Sliema, Naxxar, Mosta, Mellieha, Attard and St. Paul's Bay.

We take tiling seriously, starting with a proper substrate assessment and waterproofing where required, ensuring tiles bond correctly and stay in place for years to come.

Materials We Use

  • SchlΓΌter and aluminium tile trim profiles
  • Silicone sealant for movement joints and wet area corners

Why It Matters

Poor tiling leads to hollow tiles, cracked grout joints and eventual water ingress behind surfaces. Our tilers assess the substrate, select the correct adhesive and apply tiles with the right technique β€” whether that's back-buttering large slabs or using a levelling system to eliminate lippage on high-visibility floors.

Frequently Asked Questions β€” Tiling & Flooring

We regularly install tiles up to 120Γ—120cm and have experience with 160cm and 240cm format slabs. Large format tiles require specialised levelling clip systems and full adhesive coverage on the back of every tile.

Yes β€” we mark out the tile grid on-site before cutting, ensuring patterns are centred correctly and cuts are symmetrical at the room perimeters. This planning prevents awkward half-tiles in prominent positions.

Flexible C2 class tile adhesive is used for all wet areas, large format tiles and exterior applications. Standard C1 adhesive is not suitable for bathrooms, terraces or pool areas β€” it lacks the flexibility and water resistance needed in these environments.

We will attempt to source matching tiles, but cannot guarantee a perfect match for discontinued products. We always recommend clients keep spare tiles from any project for future repairs.

Yes β€” pool tiling requires specialist pool-grade mosaic or ceramic tiles combined with two-component epoxy grout. See our dedicated Pool Finishing & Tiling service page for full details on materials and process.
